Race Information - April 10, 2024 - 1st race at 7:00 PM SHARP

There are 2 heats to the Main Street Mile; read carefully and be sure that you sign up for the appropriate heat:

Heat 1:

This heat is officially timed & scored. We will be using timing chips within the race bib this year for this heat. All participants are recommended to be age 11 & over AND run 10-minute mile or faster. If you do not meet these criteria, please register for Heat 2.

 

Heat 2/Connor Smith Memorial Fun Run:

This heat is for ALL participants ages 10 & under AND those running slower than a 10-minute mile. This race is neither officially timed nor scored. This heat is run in memory of Connor B. Smith.

Start
7:00 pm SHARP at 410 East Main Street
**The start line is 1 mile east of packet pick-up; please give yourself enough time to transport yourself from packet-pickup to the start line

Finish
Near the Carroll County Public Library, Westminster Branch, at the intersection of Main Street and Route 27.

There will be NO race-day registration available.

Registration for either Heat 1 or Heat 2: $10 (without shirt) OR $15 (with shirt)

 

Registration will close on April 10th at 8:00 AM

Packet Pick-Up

Address for packet pick-up and post-race:

Westminster Family Center - 11 Longwell Avenue, Westminster, Maryland, 21157

Packet pick-up is closer to the FINISH line, NOT the start line; if you pick up your packet before the race you will need to transport yourself to the start which is 1 mile east on Main Street

Monday, April 8th from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM (please do not arrive before 3 PM)

Tuesday, April 9th from 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Wednesday, April 10th from 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

**Please allow enough time for travel, parking, packet pick-up, and transporting yourself

to the start line which is one (1) mile away from the packet pick-up location**

Awards

Rewards for all
Ice-cream sandwiches are provided for all race finishers back
at the Westminster Family Center (near the finish).

Each finisher will also receive a WRRC medal.

Heat 1
Cash awards and place medals given to top 3 finishers (male & female), top masters (male & female), and top 3 age-group finishers; finish medals given to all finishers

Heat 2/Fun Run
Top male (10 & under) and top female (10 & under) will receive the Connor Smith Memorial Award

School award
A cash award to the school (grades K-12) with the highest number of registered entrants
